When the newsletter has enough loyal readers & advertisers, the big plan is to offer a paying ad that includes a feature article on a business for $150. In the meantime, you may send me your requests for publicity with no obligation whatsoever, and I will include you in a monthly issue of "German VOICES Vancouver", space providing..
Each article will contain one black & white photo, if desired, and information about the formation of your company, the products and services you offer, as well as a description of special events and/or contact details.
Each article on your charity will offer and explanation of who you are, how to join, what you need from the public, especially the German-speaking community and what you have to give back to the community. Another possibility is someone sharing a Vancouver-related story. Like what a season or holiday is like, immigration struggles or what you like best about living here.

The DKV Society is seeking new Members! Families may join for
$50 a year, or may contribute towards a special event. All proceeds
are used to further the aims of our Society, which is run by strictly
volunteers. Some goals include purchasing a domain name & website
hosting, joining the German Chamber as a Society, fundraising activities,
such as our annual Lantern Festival, and possibly getting DKV T-Shirts
to sell to the public. We also are looking for Board Members to help
plan & host events. Finally, some other short-term volunteer positions
are:
a. Help draw plans and/or make a model of our future German Cultural Centre
b. Help plan a museum or children's museum - what would it look like?
c. Help organize a German library and/or DVD swap organization
d. Coffee shop or deli that would like to move in and join us - indoor/outdoor facility
